Here is a listing of the various classes I teach:
PMC Pendant: This class is the class for people with no prior PMC experience. Students can learn basic construction techniques, become familiar with Precious Metal Clay and all its possibilities and leave class with a completed piece! We will design and construct a 4 part pendant that you personalize with various textures as well as an accent charm. After the pendant is fired we will finish by polishing and oxidizing it. You can then add a leather cord, chain, ribbon or beads if you like!
Create your own individually designed bracelet with a Precious Metal Clay toggle, charm, spacers and bead. We will create all the silver components in class & while the PMC is firing we will discuss bracelet construction. Students can bring their own beads to class for assistance or complete the construction at home. Previous PMC and bead stringing experience is helpful but not required.
Create a unique textured band ring with Precious Metal Clay. In this class we will create the sized rings then fire, finish and polish the rings in one class session. Previous PMC experience required.
Create mini Fine Silver dog tags personalized anyway you want! We will use mini alphabet stamps to spell out your special message. Add 3D charms to the front of your tag if you wish. We will create, fire and finish the tags all in one class session. What is an altered book? An altered book is an existing book transformed into a new book individualized anyway you want. Some possibilities are a quote book, a travel journal or a family tribute album. In this class we will alter a baby board book with decorative papers, paints, stamps, stickers and ribbon. We will discuss themes, adhesives, design elements and layering techniques. This is a great way to take your scrap booking skills to the next level. Students will leave with a partially completed book and the skills to complete the book at home. Advanced Altered Books
